League Rules & Guidelines

League Regulations

These are extra rules not already built into the game.

General

  • Contact: We are a casual league, contact is expected and acceptable (rubbing is racing). however we do not wish to see people pushed off the track or rammed to get past.
  • Fair Racing: If you pass someone in a way that would be deemed unfair, you should give the position back, then resume racing.
  • Retiring from a race: Do not stop on or to the side of the track. If you wish to retire go back to the event menu.
  • Blue Flags: You do not need to yield or move over, you can continue racing normally. If you feel inclined to let people pass you, do so in a safe place and off the racing line. DO NOT STOP just reduce your speed.

Vehicle Setup

  • Balance Handicaps: Handicaps are given for competitive balance, managed primarily through the car's Performance Index (PI) limit system. (This includes new drivers) You can find your PI limit on the main page against your name if you have previously raced, or under the * Newcomer Entry Benchmark (Median) if you are a new racer.
  • Car Locking: You are free to change cars during practice. However, once you have set ANY qualifying lap, your car is locked and you can no longer change for the duration of the event.

Championship Tie-Breaks

If drivers finish the season level on points, final championship positions are decided using the following hierarchy:

  1. Highest number of race wins
  2. Highest number of podium finishes
